We are looking for an Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field,  and with experience in a similar role.

This role will support the Finance Manager and the wider finance team across the various legal entities.

Reports to: 

Finance manager.

Working Hours (Mon-Fri): 

• 8am to 5pm in the Stellenbosch or Cape Town office. (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly and weekly management account reporting.
• Production of monthly bordereaux to insurers.
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reviewing and approving invoices.
• Processing and paying supplier invoices.
• Daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes.
• Preparation of annual budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  
• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience. 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with Xero accounting software (Quickbooks experience also advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and be self-managed.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
