Bicycle Claims Expert

The RAW team's specialty is getting cyclists back on their bikes as quickly as possible after an unfortunate event happens. We have assembled our claims handling team from ex-pro cyclists, bicycle mechanics and bicycle store managers. Trained in insurance, our team has the technical knowledge to assess claims accurately and cost-effectively resulting in quicker claims turnaround for our insurance partners. Main activities:
In your role as a RAW claims expert you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end claims process where we facilitate information gathering, reviewing and validating the claim, formulating an assessment, and then facilitating the repair or replacement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end claims process, managing submissions, inquiries, and validations, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Provide empathetic and assured support to customers, guiding them through the claims process until resolution.
- Identify and address potential fraudulent claims following established policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, assessors, and repairers.
- Resolve complaints and disputes within agreed-upon timeframes.
- Process claims following policy guidelines, company procedures, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in electronic claim files.
- Ensure technically sound assessments are made, and decisions are communicated effectively to all parties involved.
- Manage personal productivity to meet daily workload requirements.
Who would thrive in this role:
- A cyclist with a strong understanding of bicycle mechanics and technicalities is well suited for this position.
- An individual with experience in the cycling industry. Having some background in insurance or a 3-year degree will be advantageous.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday.
8 am to 5 pm.
