Sundays insurance has partnered with Superscript to launch the UK's first insurance product built specifically for e-bike couriers and delivery riders.
The cover includes third-party liability and personal accident protection, offered as individual policies for the first time. It is initially available to riders in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
The UK gig economy now accounts for up to 4.7 million workers, with many turning to e-bikes for flexible delivery work. While courier insurance exists through other providers, it has not previously been available as individual policies.
